APSMER Early Bird Registration Closes 30 April

The Asia-Pacific Symposium for Music Education Research (APSMER) is the official regional conference of the International Society for Music Education and returns to Australia for the first time in over 20 years. APSMER 2025 will take place from 9-11 July at Edith Cowan University located in Perth, Western Australia, and explore the theme, “being and becoming musical in a posthuman era”. Australian music and music education will be on show with keynote presenters including Clint Bracknell, Margaret Barrett, Julie Ballantyne, and Alexis Kallio with performances by Gina Williams, Guy Ghouse, and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). The full program consists of over 250 presenters from across the globe delivering research papers, workshops, symposia, and academic posters.

ASME members and students are invited to attend APSMER 2025 at a discounted rate, and early bird registration closes April 30.
