2010 Awards Information
The recipients of the 2010 National Awards for Excellence in School Music Education were announced at a presentation event held at the Langford Theatre, St Hilda's School, Southport, Queensland on Saturday 3rd July 2010 by Mr Brett Raguse MP, Member for Forde (Qld), representing The Hon Simon Crean MP, Minister for Education.
Thirteen awards for excellence and leadership in school music education were awarded to teachers and school leaders. The awards recognised the recipients' exceptional contribution to enhancing the status and quality of music education in their schools.
Each award consisted of a grant of $5000 to enable the recipients to further their professional learning related to music education.
