Engaging With First Nations’ Content and Educational Practices in the Music Classroom

Hear from proud Dja Dja Wurrung Researcher Dr. Aleryk (Al) Fricker, as he introduces the theory of decolonisation, music classroom implications, and shares applied approaches that teachers and schools can implement.

Dr Candace Kruger from Griffith University, whose research in Indigenous Knowledges and Education is underpinned by a career of over 27 years as a classroom teacher, will also be a presenter at the Symposium.

This symposium will provide teachers with the opportunity to engage in a range of practical applications to support the implementation of First Nations’ content in your classrooms.
