The Northern Territory Chapter of ASME aims to promote the value of Music Education in every single area of our community, whether that be supporting music teachers as personal advocates for their own schools, principals as support networks for their educators (whether they be classroom or specialist trained), musicians who are passionate about quality music education, or isolated teachers who need the support and networking of fellow music educators in their field.
ASME (NT) is re-building its Chapter Council. We encourage NT music educators to join ASME in order to have access to the other ASME Chapters and the networks and various resources that are available to all ASME members.
ASME recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first musicians, storytellers and educators of this land. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, acknowledging their ongoing connection to land, sky and waterways
