The ACT Schools Honour Band is open for application now! Students in years 9-12 from all school sectors in the ACT and surrounding regions are encouraged to speak with their school music teachers to apply – teachers can contact us at actmusiceducatorsnetwork@gmail.com for more information.
Students must have a demonstrated high level of skill on their chosen concert band instrument, and be available for all three days of rehearsals and performance. The ensemble will be led by Dr Peter Boonshaft, renowned conductor, author and music education specialist from the USA. Cost is $90 per student, but please contact ACTMEN if in need of special financial consideration.
Concert – Sunday 8th September 2024
2-3pm
All day rehearsals – Friday 6th September 2024
and Saturday 7th September 2024 plus Sunday morning
