ASME WA Scholarship Awards

Written by: dev

This year, for the first time, ASMEWA have launched a scholarship programme to assist Western Australian music educators in developing their skills and qualifications.

Two scholarships were awarded to people undertaking International studies through our National and World Study Grants:

Gillian Archer – Summer Master’s program at Hart School of Music in Connecticut, USA

Jason Boron – Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy at the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Academy of Music, Hungary

We also awarded a scholarship in the National and World Conference category to assist Neville Talbot in attending this year’s XXth National Conference in Adelaide, South Australia 2015

We are looking forward to reading about their experiences in upcoming editions of OPUS. All recipients will also provide some practical sessions to share their ideas and skills over the next year.

Keep an eye out for our next round of scholarships in OPUS.
