I wish to draw your attention to the International Creativity in Education Awards for 2024. These awards are an initiative of the Global Institute of Creative Thinking (https://www.gioct.org/) and seek to recognise innovative educational approaches by individuals and organisations. This year’s theme is “Creative Thinking in Education for Climate Action”, and proposals are due by April 30.
Climate change is an important issue to many of our members, and music education can provide a powerful platform for transformation and positive change. Rather than a competition, the awards program aims to stimulate the sustainable development of school creativity projects.
