Dr Anita Collins has continued to advocate for Music Education through her research which has included the development and release of her TedEd lesson which highlights the value of learning music. This can be viewed here.

Similarly, she has commented on the importance of learning music in a highly competitive curriculum focused on external testing. Her article in The Age here is of considerable interest.

More information about her work can be found on her website at www.anitacollins.com

Dr Collins will be providing the final plenary presentation at this year’s National ASME Conference in Adelaide on Friday October the 2nd.

She has had several resources available for conference delegates. Please follow this link for resources. http://1hub.co/asmeconf
